The turnaround time of an online reference check varies as CVCheck are reliant on third parties for the supply of information. Generally, our Streamlined Employment Reference Check takes approximately 1 business day** while our Verified Employment Reference Check takes approximately 3 business days**. These estimates have come from our previous experiences with clients and how long the majority of the checks took to be delivered. These estimates are based on the checks being Australian based. Please keep in mind that international checks may take longer.
As our turnaround time is reliant on third parties, we do not give any time guarantees for any checks. However, we will keep you informed as much as possible if there are any unusual delays we will contact you.

We have two different types of reference checks available; our Streamlined Employment Reference Check and our Verified Employment Reference Check.
Our Streamlined Employment Reference Check includes a reference report using one of our questionnaires or customisable templates. We have multiple different questionnaire templates available to suit the role that you’re hiring for and if you wish you can use your own reference check template. This check has an estimated delivery time of 1 day** and costs $15.00 plus GST.
Our Verified Employment Reference Check includes the questionnaire template from our Streamlined Reference Check and additional employment information from the candidate's previous HR or payroll department. This check has an estimated delivery time of 3 days** and costs $35.00 plus GST.

4. Can a reference check be used to contact referees that are overseas?
Yes, our reference checks can be used to contact referees globally. Please keep in mind however that international checks may take longer.
5. Can I use CVCheck for other online checks?
Yes, we offer over 1000 checks across 190 countries.
