Obtaining Visa Details

You can obtain your VISA details and conditions by visiting the Department of Home Affairs website and submitting a visa holder enquiry. Please note, you will need one of the following Reference Types on-hand in order to submit your request online:

• Transaction Reference Number (TRN)
• Visa Evidence Number
• Visa Grant Number
• VEVO Password

New Zealand citizens living in Australia

If you do not know any of the above References Types – please call Visa General Enquiries on 131 881 and request a VEVO password.

Providing CVCheck with your Visa details:

1. Visit the Department of Home Affairs website and submit a visa holder enquiry.
2. When your visa is displayed, save this as a document as you will need to upload this to CVCheck as proof of your ‘Australian Visa’.
3. When you are uploading your identification documents to CVCheck, upload your visa details document as your ‘Australian Visa’ (Commencement of Identity document).
