The records are kept based on the legal prescription and rehabilitation periods applicable for each type of conviction provided by the local regulations in Egypt. Records up to 7 years will be reported.

The Ministry of Interior will not allow a third party to access information on Police Officers, Military Personnel, and Diplomats.
